The different religions in Almeiz
IDOLA
​The biggest religion in Almeiz is that the King and Queen are the gods that created everything and that they have come to earth to live among their creation with pride and joy. They are seen to be the wisest of all and that they alone have the power to make the world a better place. Those who constantly praise them and give tribute to them are well taken care of and usually one of the nobles.
Because the King and Queen are seen as gods they are not allowed to act out any human emotions in front of their creation, they must be better than that. If a King and Queen are caught in acting out human emotions it is a sign that they are impostors and must Die in public execution, then the gods will choose a new bodies to inhabit and the King and Queen symbol will be given to them by the superior beings.
LIG OR LUMEN
​This a religion mostly believed by the bondservants, it is mostly practiced by the Yelomonas as they have vowed themselves to purity by not placing anyone’s life before their own. Each bondservant village will have a Yelomona who will organize their religious feasts where they will give thanks to the universe for their few blessings in life. They do not believe in one singular god or many but believe that God is everything even that cannot be seen.
The Yelomona’s will ask the lord of light for help to banish the dark energies, then the light energy will work through them, because of this they must stay pure and humble.
DARK ENERGY
​This is a religion practiced by the witches of the land. They are seen to be interlinked with the demons and dark forces of the world. Due to the world being overrun with demons and dark creatures the witches of the dark energy are very powerful and it is easy for them to connect with the darkness and manipulate the energy to their own selfish will.
They in a way from together with the Mancipium de Deorum as the Queen god is their sources. Their rules are given by the Queen and if broken they are forced to sacrifice themselves in front of her. They believe that they share a connected bond through the dark energy and there for the Queen will know what they have done.
